Our National Football Team bid farewell to the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a 3-2 victory over co-hosts USA in their final match of Group D. In the match played at the Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood, California, the goals for the Crescent-Stars were scored by Arda Güler in the 10th minute, Orkun Kökçü in the 31st minute, and Kaan Ayhan in the 90+8th minute. The USA's goals were scored by Auston Trusty in the 3rd minute and Sebastian Berhalter in the 49th minute.
The match was followed from the stands by the Republic of Türkiye Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, former Minister of Youth and Sports and Izmir MP Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, and TFF Board Members.
