The landmark frame law, designed to establish the legal framework for a "Terror-Free Turkey" process, was officially enacted after passing the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly with 467 votes in favor. The bill faced 87 votes against and 7 abstentions.
Following the successful vote, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli drew widespread attention by approaching the DEM Party benches. Bahçeli shook hands with DEM Party Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları, alongside Imrali delegation member Pervin Buldan. During these moments, DEM Party MPs were seen celebrating the passage of the proposal with traditional ululations (zılgıt).
