The AK Party celebrated its 25th anniversary with a large event held at the Başkent National Garden. Following special shows portraying the party's quarter-century political journey, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed thousands of attendees, beginning his speech by greeting the crowd and People's Alliance partner Devlet Bahçeli. Expressing gratitude to everyone who served under the party banner since August 14, 2001, Erdoğan emphasized that "the nation founded this party," while underlining their goal to leave a terror-free Türkiye for future generations and carry the country toward its 2053 and 2071 visions
