The 104th anniversary of August 30 Victory Day was celebrated with high spirits in Ardahan through ceremonies and events attended by Governor Ömer Hilmi Yamlı and local protocol members.
The celebrations commenced in the morning with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument, led by the Ardahan Governorate, Garrison Command, and Ardahan Municipality. Following the presentation of wreaths, a moment of silence was observed, followed by the National Anthem.
After the wreath ceremony, the protocol delegation proceeded to the Governor's office, where Governor Ömer Hilmi Yamlı accepted official congratulations. The celebrations then continued at Congress Avenue, the main venue for the events.
