ARDAHAN – The 21st Dursun Akçam Culture and Arts Days, organized by the Dursun Akçam Culture and Arts Foundation, will take place in Ardahan from June 12 to 14, 2026.
The annual event honors the legacy of renowned writer and intellectual Dursun Akçam and is being organized with the support of Ardahan Municipality, the Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and regional producers' associations.
This year's main theme is "Our Sources of Livelihood and Their Reflection on Our Culture." The three-day public event will feature academic panels, exhibitions, documentary screenings, theatrical performances, tree planting activities, cultural celebrations, and concerts.
Scholars, writers, researchers, and representatives of local producer organizations will discuss Ardahan's history, cultural heritage, agricultural production, and regional development
The festival will conclude on June 14 with a closing ceremony and a concert by Turgay Demir.
Foundation President Dr. Alper Akçam invited everyone to attend, saying that the event aims to strengthen the values of culture, art, and community while bringing people together in what is known as the "Roof of Anatolia."
