Deadly Saturday in Gaza: At Least 32 Killed in Airstrikes

Israeli airstrikes targeted various parts of the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing at least 32 Palestinians, most of whom were women and children, according to local officials. The Gaza Civil Defense reported that attack helicopters struck a camp for displaced persons near the southern city of Khan Younis.

The Israeli military claimed the strikes were in retaliation for Hamas violating the ceasefire on Friday. Conversely, Hamas stated that the attacks targeted civilian settlements, tents, and a police station, noting that seven members of a single family were killed in the Khan Younis camp. Both sides continue to trade accusations over ceasefire violations.
