A major legal step has been taken regarding the operational control of the Ahbap Association as part of an investigation carried out by Istanbul prosecutors. Following the detention of key figures including founder Haluk Levent, the Peace Criminal Court ruled to transfer the governance of the organization's financial accounts, real estate, and operational assets to a panel of court-appointed trustees. The judicial measure, which comes alongside pending dissolution proceedings, places legal professionals Rıdvan Can and Mustafa Göktuğ Kaya, together with Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kasım Han, in charge of directing the entity’s holdings and administrative functions.
