The Central Executive Board (MYK) of the DEM Party issued a written statement regarding the "absolute nullity" decision against the CHP. Describing the decision as "incompatible with law and justice, and part of an operation of political pressure aimed at designing politics through the judiciary," the DEM Party emphasized that they stand by the will of the people against attacks on democratic politics.
The statement pointed out that this decision, taken at a time when efforts for social peace are intensifying, casts a shadow over the "Peace and Democratic Society Process" and deepens the crisis of trust in society. Calling for an immediate end to these unlawful practices, the DEM Party stated that they continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with millions of citizens fighting for democracy and justice.
