Ardahan is the first Kurdish and first English newspaper published online in Turkey. It mainly broadcasts in Turkish, Kurdish, and English. Founded in 1995 by Mehmet Ali Arslan, the newspaper operates on local, national, and international levels. Bringing regional news to the world and global news to the region, the media outlet carried out its initial news broadcasts via mIRC, ICQ, and IRC platforms.
The Turkish version of the newspaper is named Ardahan Gazetesi, the English version is The Ardahan Newspaper, and the Kurdish version is Ardahan Rojname (Rojnameya Erdexanê). Providing digital broadcasting through various platforms, blogs, and websites on the internet, the newspaper also periodically and temporarily releases traditional printed editions.
